The Photonics21 Innovation Award 2025 is now open for applications! This annual competition encourages PhD students, master students, young entrepreneurs, and innovators to present groundbreaking ideas in photonics with the potential to become real-world applications.
With a focus on entrepreneurship and innovation, the award offers a €5,000 cash prize for the winner, along with entrepreneurial skills coaching. Runners-up will receive training through PhotonHub Europe.
Participants are invited to submit either:
- A video pitch showcasing their innovation, or
- A written description (max. four pages) explaining the idea, its industrial relevance, and market potential.
