Throughout the “Meet the PHOENIX Partners” campaign, we had the pleasure of introducing the organizations behind the PHOENIX project.
Each partner brings unique expertise, driving forward our mission to advance photonic memories and integrated technologies. Here’s a recap of our amazing partners:
- Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KUL) leads the project, focusing on the development of vanadium oxide thin films for next-gen photonic integrated circuits (PICs).
- Nanophotonics Technology Center (UPV) designs, fabricates, and characterizes hybrid VO2/BTO/SiN devices.
- IBM Research – Israel works on Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) technologies for secure collaborations.
- Lumiphase provides technology platforms for photonic circuit demonstrators.
- IBM Research Zurich (IBMZ) focuses on integrated optic devices for neuromorphic computing and AI applications.
- Optalysys develops novel photonic chips for accelerating Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) operations.
- PNO Innovation SL leads dissemination, communication, and exploitation, helping innovations reach the market.
Each of these outstanding partners are making significant contributions to the project.
As we conclude this campaign, we are excited to continue working together on the core objectives of the PHOENIX project—developing cutting-edge photonic technologies that will revolutionize fields such as artificial intelligence, secure communications, and data processing.
Together, we are shaping the future of photonics and advancing the European photonics ecosystem.
